This was for MEMENTO. This was for BATMAN BEGINS. This was for THE PRESTIGE. This was for INCEPTION. This was for INTERSTELLAR. This was for DUNKIRK. This was for OPPENHEIMER.
But most importantly, this was for THE DARK KNIGHT.
The greatest filmmaker of the 21st Century.
If he wasn’t so far gone in the loony bin, Kanye West would have delivered a spectacular Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Imagine hearing songs like POWER, MONSTER, RUNAWAY, PARIS, LOVE LOCKDOWN, HEARTLESS, etc. in a stadium.
Beyoncé needs to do the Super Bowl Halftime show again. She is a completely different visionary artist now than when she headlined back in 2013. She has a new discography of anthems since then now that she has more to say.
AMERIICAN REQUIEM (intro)

This was when Beyoncé took the risk of her entire career & became the controversial artist she is today. She performed FORMATION for the first time on national television - the quintessential modern day Black Power anthem & was massive “f*ck you” to police brutality & injustice. Right wing politicians & conservatives dragged her through the mud, calling for a boycott. It was insanity in 2016. It was such an abrasive yet transcendent cultural movement. She paved the way for all these artists to use this platform to broadcast their political messages through their art.
And yes, a Black woman carved the path of direct art activism on the Super Bowl halftime stage and braved immense backlash so artists like Kendrick Lamar and Bad Bunny could continue the journey.
Her name is Beyoncé. 💡
And Formation was its name.

Timothée Chalamet says ‘INTERSTELLAR’ is his favorite movie that he has starred in.
“Though my role is not enormous in Interstellar, I think I was number 12 on the call sheet. This film came to me at a time in life, in career, or things were certainly not set yet. And it’s remained my favorite project I’ve ever been in. It’s the film I’ve seen the most of, of all the films ever made in human history.”

Beyoncé spilled in this 2021 interview
“Our reality can be warped because it’s based on a personalized algorithm. It shows us whatever truths we are searching for, and that’s dangerous.”
It’s actually insane that this country is so divided that we basically ended up with two different Super Bowl halftime shows last night. The way people turn politics into their entire personality and pledge loyalty to these parties like it’s a lifestyle is beyond me.
Jake Paul: "If you don’t like ICE then you can’t call 911 when you’re in trouble"
Me: If you didn't trust doctors during COVID then you can't see a doctor when you get a double broken jaw after you were knocked out during a boxing match.
HEROIC! Virginia teenager Hugh Pinneo rushed into action to rescue a neighbor’s dog struggling in a frozen pond behind his home.
Pinneo states, “When my mom told me a dog was drowning, I was already halfway out the door. I didn't really think about the risk or the cold - in the moment, I just realized if I'm the one who can help, I'm the one who's gotta go.”
He’s raised right. 👏🏾
We're never getting a MV scene like this again btw
Atmospheric visuals, great sound design, dramatic lighting, weight behind every move the monsters make, its all gone now
Such a shame one of the greatest artists ever, with an incredible discography and undeniable stadium anthems will probably never perform at the Super Bowl
And they are absolutely correct, no one was using their Super Bowl performances to make political statements or as an avenue to take a stand against social and racial injustices until she did it in 2016 and now it’s become the norm.
