POTM @Jeshassall brought us level with a fantastic strike, and both teams had further chances which were thwarted by good defending and goalkeeping. It was pleasing to see the team sticking to their principles and playing football right to the final whistle.

Another @LiverpoolWYFL classic this afternoon saw the Yellows come back from 3-0 and 4-1 down to eventually run out 6-4 winners against an excellent @AshtonTown side. After a rocky first 15-20 minutes, the Women returned to their principles and grafted to get back into the game.

Two goals apiece from @Jeshassall (Her first goals for the club) and POTM @SophieBirnie as well as strikes from @georgiadavies97 and @hannahbr21590 saw the Women show real character in an entertaining and hard-fought encounter. #OnePort

It was great for 13 of the girls to be able to play their first game in over four months, and it was particularly great to play new recruits @Jeshassall and Eva Boyle. Our goal was a fantastic long-range strike from @becca_redford and the performance was really encouraging.
