And how so many people were segregated and oppressed because of their gender or race or any number of other things

You must be aware that women used to be expected to cook and clean and stay at home while men went to work and bars etc, and had all the freedom and fun while women stayed home and took care of the house.

Why didn't the author simply say "make sure you eat a healthy diet." It doesn't matter WHO cooks. Any person might be happy to cook.

Im not sure how you identify but there was a time when women and men/women who were not white, were excluded

There isn't anything wrong with being gay, straight, bi, queer, pan/asexual, straight, trans, intersex etc. None of this is anyones business other than the individual
