Irony is people attacking teachers by saying that they “don’t care about the kids,” when, for many of us, the ONLY reason we stay in education (in spite of the impossible expectations, low pay, unpaid hours, buying supplies, etc.) is because we care so much about our students.

Anyone making any decisions about schools should be required by law to work in a school for at least a week each year...while being paid the same as an educator.
