When we raised a small pre-seed for @hirechain_io I spoke to lots of different VCs.
Some of them became friends, some of them said no to investing, some introduced me to their portfolio companies, some said yes to investing....and some were quite unpleasant.
There are some *great* VCs in crypto and there are some that give the rest a bad name.
One VC of them asked if I had validated the idea because he thought the likelihood of people referring friends to a job was "near zero".
His friend just referred him to a job.
