“Year after year, the Forest Service sends crews into smoke with nothing to prevent them from inhaling its poisons. The agency has fought against equipping firefighters with masks… workers are not allowed to wear masks on the front line, even if they want to.”
The upward redistribution of wealth over the past 50 years has shifted $80 trillion from the bottom 90% of Americans to the top 1%.
That’s $80 trillion that would have gone into the paychecks of the working class.
The greatest trick of all is trickle-down economics.
Cɔvid disrupts the brain's protective Blood-brain-barrier.
Same as we see in Alzheimer's, HIV.
Even years later, the BBB isn't right. Motor function is adversely affected.
SARS2 infection/Cɔvid.
We need it like a hole in the head.
14th century doctors: “I don’t know what’s wrong with you, but you’re a woman so…witchcraft”
19th century doctors: “I don’t know what’s wrong with you, but you’re a woman so…hysteria”
21st century doctors: “I don’t know what’s wrong with you, but you’re a woman so…anxiety”
🤔 If you ever wondered why ticks carry so many bizarre, dangerous pathogens, look no further than the US Gov, who bioweaponized ticks by creating & combining germs to impregnate them with. 🦠 🔬
True story, well-documented in @krisnewby’s remarkable book, “BITTEN.”
New study shows how Covid damages the body’s muscles and tissues, often leading to severe fatigue and pain during and after physical activity.
21st century doctors be like:
“Have you tried going for a walk?”

The neurological toll of COVID is vastly underestimated
Brain scans can look “normal” while things too subtle for MRI detection; microvascular damage, neuroinflammation, and synaptic loss… quietly erode cognition, mood & behaviour
We are flying blind on the scale of impairment
Based on a meta-analysis of 429 studies, an estimated 36% of all people infected with SARS-CoV-2 develop Long COVID.
The condition affects the entire body, with fatigue, respiratory issues, and psychological symptoms being the most prevalent clusters.

Unless you’re taking measures to prevent infection, you’re catching SARS-CoV-2 frequently. Many infections are asymptomatic.
Each new infection will compound the brain damage, causing new issues that previous infections may not have done.
You are gambling with your cognition.
Yesterday, AstraZeneca launched their home delivery program for their FluMist influenza vaccine (which we knew was coming since last year).
It’s available in 34 states, and I’m shocked that it seems to actually be a well-functioning system. I assumed you would need a prescription from your normal PCP, but you just need to fill out a form and one of AZ’s providers will review it.
A reminder that this is not a particularly great vaccine by many measures, but this is potentially a big deal for housebound individuals, or anyone needle phobic who gets this vaccine anyway and now doesn’t have to risk illness in a crowded pharmacy.

What the fuck?
Half of the cheese slices are on dealing with an infection lol. That would mean the entire mitigation strategy failed at what it was supposed to accomplish, which should be unacceptable rather than be normalized.
Even the ones before that are out of order and don’t make any sense. Like “check wastewater” - it’s irrelevant because your layers should be strong enough that you never get infected even during the peak of a wave. And “test when exposed” - you should be assuming every human interaction is an exposure, and again, your mitigations should be strong enough so that you never get infected.
An actual layered approach is:
1. Spend less time around others, isolate and social distance. Literally the only proven way in the history of humanity to avoid infectious disease with 100% certainty.
2. Ventilation, filtration, and far-UVC
3. N95 or better masking
4. Novavax vaccination
5. Physical biological defenses - Nasal sprays, lozenges, mouthwash, nasal rinses
6. Supporting the innate immune system through diet and supplementation
COVID is the #1 cause of chronic illness in children.
Asthma is the #2.
COVID causes Asthma. And Eosinophilic Esophagitis. And Insomnia.
And High BP, and Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
And thyroid issues, pancreatic issues, eyes / ears / nose / throat
Why are we allowing this?
My second covid infection triggered diabetes, fibromyalgia, and me/cfs, and that's just the stuff I know about.
And I was vaccinated. I was careful - and I'm even more careful now.
Take COVID so seriously, guys. It can ruin your life so easily.
Every day, I wake up shocked by overwhelming evidence of serious harm to the general population, yet we're ridiculed for trying to discuss or reduce the risk.
Over 2 billion people could have some degree of long COVID already. How is this not catastrophic?

Myths and misinformation about #COVID19 and children have been rampant since the start of the pandemic. It’s time to debunk the dangerous idea that kids are immune to severe illness, long-term health problems, and can't spread the virus. #PublicHealth#BackToSchool
