It appears Monte Shaw's only experience with water is the tears he shed while issuing this (mis)statement. Maybe Summit should source their water from his tearducts instead of deep bedrock aquifers.

New post: Nancy Dugan had 5 questions for Dr. Mark Z. Jacobson @mzjacobson about Summit Carbon Solutions' proposed CO2 pipeline. (He's an expert on ethanol, carbon capture, and renewable energy)
Must-read Q&A:

Navigator C02 announced Friday it is canceling its carbon pipeline proposal amid the “unpredictable nature of the regulatory and government processes” of Iowa and South Dakota, @jstrong712 reports. https://t.co/tiHhj8NdYg via @IowaCapDispatch
Linkedin has a chart to see what a company's employees are skilled at. Summit claims they are an ag company to support farmers and save ethanol - agriculture, ethanol, land management, etc are not in their skill set.
Summit put their DNR Air Quality and Wastewater permitting on hold.
Navigator put their entire Iowa project on hold on Friday.
More signs of distress from the carbon pipeline companies.
We will win.

Summit's lawyer is an absolute scoundrel. He implied that a landowner refused mail from Summit, putting the lack of communication on the landowner. The truth is that Summit sent it to a random address that doesn't even have a mailbox! Absolutely ridiculous.
Summit tried to shame a landowner by saying maybe they didn't receive their eminent domain notice bc they refused the mailing.
Actually.... Summit sent the eminent domain notice to the wrong address. Here's the proof.....
Last week Summit objected to an expert in real estate answering ?s about their hazardous pipeline on land values.
IUB sustained the objection, denying info from being introduced in the record.
IUB doesn't want a fair hearing - IUB wants a fast hearing - forget about the facts
Summit and IUB care more about rules and than bringing out the critical facts in the case.
Summit objected to a landowner saying what her soil type is. Summit doesn't think that's relevant because it *could* have been in her pre-filed testimony.

IUB Chair Erik Helland isn't trying to hide his disdain for the landowners' attorney. Helland has publicly berated, ridiculed, singled-out and punished Domina Law Group from day one. Helland's bias only hurts the landowners.
