I am currently trying to make a survival kit for people who suffer with their mental health. If you are/have been one of these people, I would greatly appreciate it if you could fill out this form! Thank you!

I spent time interviewing people in food banks a few years ago & the thing that came up time & time again is how hard it is to overcome barriers & make progress when you're consumed by the day-to-day mental & physical struggle of trying to make ends meet
I'm deeply alarmed by the sentences handed to climate activists today over peaceful protests.
I agree with the UN Special Rapporteur that this "marks a very dark day for fundamental human rights in the UK"
I'll be raising this and our draconian anti-protest laws in Parliament.
It's strange to look back on my mental health journey.
5 years ago started a book to celebrate my small wins against social anxiety. Recently, I presented to around 40 people!
I hope this helps someone who may be going through similar things rn. #anxiety#mentalhealth
When people discuss the salaries of junior doctors, they often overlook the many "hidden" costs that they have to pay for. This includes student loans, examination fees, GMC registration, medical insurance, training courses, textbooks, equipment and relocation expenses.
Nothing but mad respect for the way Jordan Pickford is consistently ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS at being asked to do the activity for which he is paid. Extremely me.
Please remember domestic abuse increases when England play, and rises more if they lose.
We can all do our part to spot abuse and help those suffering.

NHS Privatisation: we could spend £100 pounds for a procedure that costs £100 or we could spend £500 for the same procedure with £400 going to shareholders
Make it make sense.
As a child bereaved by fatal domestic abuse, headlines calling a man who killed three women a “nice guy” and “normal person” have felt personally traumatic.
The media called my father a “gentle man” and “nice chap”, which misrepresented the controlling reality that myself and my family experienced for years. It compounded our trauma.
Reporting like this causes so much damage – both to victims’ families, and to public understandings of coercive control. It has to stop. Now.
We need every single newsroom trained in how to report domestic abuse deaths, and to lobby the regulator for stronger rules. The press has the power to prevent further deaths and save women’s lives.
Please support this crowdfunder I’ve started to support @we_level_up’s crucial work to train journalists in their Dignity For Dead Women guidelines.

My daughter’s school’s uniform shop – run by Tesco – charges £18.50 for a branded cardigan that costs £2.50 without branding from a Tesco store.
I spoke to the headteacher + he’s allowing unbranded cardigans for the first time. I’m pleased I found the confidence to speak up.
Being called a radical for believing every person should have enough food to eat, a roof over their heads, and access to healthcare and education is wild. But here we are.
We cannot rely on the private sector to tackle the housing crisis.
That experiment has failed.
We need to build more council houses, end Right to Buy and bring in rent controls.
Housing isn't a commodity. It's a human right.
There is no getting away from it. Wes Streeting is absolutely hopeless and has no idea how to rescue our NHS
The NHS needs to be:
1) properly funded
2) unprivatised, so money goes to patients not profit,
and
3) people need to be paid liveable wages to stem the loss of staff
Dear Wes Streeting, Not only do private health firms skim off NHS money as profits that should go to patients but the evidence is that private firms provide worse outcomes for patients. Increasing NHS privatisation is entirely un-evidence based and voters have never agreed to it.
I'm a newish pharmacist and I realised there is not much accessibility (or at least awareness of accessible resources) in pharmacy land.
Please comment below any accessible resources or advice on how I can make my practice more accessible! #pharmacy#disabilityinclusion
My mental health wish list:
- a humane benefits system that supports everyone, whether they can work or not
- recognition some of us have severe, long-term mental health problems + needs
- day centres
- demedicalised crisis care options + TIC
- psychiatric beds that help + care
A child living in a household that can't afford to keep the house warm has a 13.6% chance of reaching criteria for a mental health problem compared to 6% otherwise.
Reduce poverty, reduce mental illness.
