@hannah_g_miller I agree that this campaign was really great! It got the job done but there was never really a follow through afterwards from IHOP which told the public whether or not it was just a PR stunt or not.
@aohlaker298 Thanks for the tweet Alec! This is definitely something that I can use in the future and I totally agree with all of these tips. I also think that a lot of brands these days need to understand the concept of using the right influencer that makes sense for their brand.
The most recent iOS update for Apple phones revamped Facetime and you can now have group calls! Apple users can also Facetime their loved ones with filters to make their calls more fun #BUSM18
@kiyongkim I believe that it has influenced me in a positive way because it allows me to feel like we're closer when I see their posts online. I think that it does depend on how some people react to certain things online. But I see it more in a positive light at the moment. #BUSM18
@aohlaker298@kiyongkim Humor is always a great way to market! Humor and food really close the bridge between brand and audience! Even from person to person
One other campaign I loved this past year was the "Alexa Lost Her Voice" campaign. When the Home Amazon device "lost" her voice, other celebrities stepped in! #BUSM18
@kiyongkim A campaign that really stood out to me this year was @ihop's "rebranding" to "ihob" in order to market their burgers. This had everyone on the internet so shook and confused but really brought attention to their burgers #BUSM18
@hannah_g_miller I really enjoyed these tips. #2 is something that I do with my own social media because people know your brand by your profile picture. Keeping the same profile pic makes your brand easy to recognize!
One website that I've found helpful was https://t.co/viFbzYX2le. It allowed me to see the statistics of other profiles and my own and see where I'm ranked. It's helpful to see what's working for other people and what is for yours #BUSM18 https://t.co/viFbzYX2le
@kiyongkim One of the best 404 pages may be the Lego website one. I love anything that involves the usage and consistency of a website. You can click on the link and see what I'm talking about! https://t.co/V2185NSxef
@EVerbarg @kiyongkim I agree with this! I have used these three tools on a lot of my public relations projects and I'm sure they can be used else where as well.
