Great art, film, and games carry with them a “funk”. It’s an aroma that is…. Noticeable and unique, not necessarily good. But it’s there. Kinda like when someone has a recognizable smell. Bad artists and game developers try and wash their smell away
The last ten years of my career have been throwing everything at the wall, and then taking notes. As an indie you have to fearlessly scream at the top of lungs about your project and care very little about the results haha
in college I became obsessed with smash
I wanted to go to tournaments, commentate games, and make videos about it
my girlfriend at the time thought it was lame as hell and we broke up shortly after
there’s beauty in dedicating a portion of your life to a delusional dream but you need people in your life who will support you
There will come a point when working on your game when you lose pretty much all confidence in the project and you feel like you’re holding on to a glimmer of hope with your pinky. It’s important to hold on tight and keep climbing!!
