@hankgreen One ring to rule them all
One ring to find them
One ring to bring them all
And in the darkness bind them
The one ring is the Lord of the Rings.
@MsLavender777 @SportingLife I'm sorry that actual things that happened is "all I got". Maybe I should use more gifs? I wouldn't want you to be my sweetheart, but it is cute that you think blindly defending a woman of color makes you interesting or right, sweetheart.
@Brian60days @AOC Right so we test and license everyone who wants a gun (just like we do with cars). And we register every gun (just like we do with cars). And as the guns get bigger/more powerful we have stricter requirements and more licensing and tests (like we do with buses, 18 wheelers, etc.)
@Brian60days @JimmyDeVanzo @AOC So that the damage done by the thing can be paid for even if the owner doesn't have enough money on hand to pay for it. You know, like car insurance.
@eligit@jayrosen_nyu@mehdirhasan The trouble is Trump doesn't even try to respond to the questions. He'll call them rude/racist/unfair questions and then revoke access. The "mistake" the guy in this video made was that he tried to talk about reality. Trump doesn't bother with reality.
@mrdanielduenas Oh! Oh! Can I add to the learning? They're detestably both right. And so is Octopodes which objectively sounds way cooler.. https://t.co/rg5rpBXwxQ
@gjecheverria @etherealbanner So again, what would you call a citizen of the United States of America in normal speech where it's unwieldly to say "citizen of the United States of America" every time? Is "American" not the most helpful term? Is there something better?
@gjecheverria @etherealbanner What do you want them to be called? United Statesers? United Statesians? In common usage "American" is fine. Call it shorthand for "United States American" which would make sense for a citizen of the United States of America.
