First day, Airbnb host’s dog attacked & bit our dog. No mention of this dog being next to the Airbnb or that it’s kept behind an electrical perimeter by its collar. Rather than apologizing, the host defended their dog & said we should keep ours on a leash 😳

@hollybishu Our apartment was a *miracle* we got in on an affordable program to a new building collab w the Legion & the Government, so it was controlled & a large grant for the down payment 🙏🏼 So we got to own our own place Metro Vancouver in our 20’s! Defs need more of this is BC 🏠

A Refugee Family was discussing the Safe Third Country Agreement, their 10yr old says to me
“When I’m older I want to make it so that if people need to come to be safe in Canada, they can do it” 🍁

@CBCNews CUAET they are considered ‘temporary residents’. While they can’t return home due to war, they are not given Refugee Status as asylum seekers or GARs. Perhaps the @CitImmCanada will ultimately create a pathway to PR soon, then they can access domestic tuition for University.
