@Kris12351337 When an assignment is dealing with current events that are happening in real time and may even directly affect the student in some way you will find they are much more engaged and interested.
@NICOLEK30424277 When students are able to relate their work to a in real life type situation the lesson will make much more of an impression. Great idea!
@salli_miller This could be an ongoing project that could be built upon including having students follow professionals in that specific career and tweeting with questions about their jobs.
@AlyssaAngelo2 I like this idea. Making math more interactive can increase the interest of those students that are not as into math or maybe need extra help. That was me. But having this interaction and being able to see others work would have been helpful
@ElizabethAWest4 Students may also be able to help those that are not in their group with certain ideas and answers to possible questions or complications their group may be having.
@HillaryStarini1 This is a great idea. I believe having the class respond and add to it could make it super fun and show everyone's imagination and creativity.

I would create a class twitter account and students contribute using the #ELA3rd. After each days read aloud students would be asked to write about their thoughts regarding the book and their predictions of what is going to happen next. #525SU19
@n_storti I think this is an awesome idea. Families could also contribute to the story as well. I would bet that by the end of the week with the contributions of the whole class and families you will have a great story.
