Probably my favorite writing of all time 😭 these kiddos writing about their future…college, family, and careers! It’s so cute and hopefully a fun keepsake! ☀️
Field Day 2022.
Words can’t describe how great it felt being back in person for an annual tradition like Field Day. Memories, friendships, and all the fun to wrap up the year! @WaxpoolElem
Students loved reading encouraging notes from their parents right before their first SOL! Not to mention, students even shared love with each other before the big test! Love this family of mine. Their giant hearts are amazing!
4th grade is continuing our look at poetry with Change Sings by @TheAmandaGorman. Since we had been talking about her, I put her inauguration poem on in the background while checking out books. Every student stopped to listen. Our future is going to be alright in their hands 💛❤️
We just finished another incredible read aloud, Out of My Mind by @sharonmdraper! My fourth graders begged me to read Melody’s story each and every day and we are forever changed by it. Thank you Mrs. Draper! Choose kindness 💓
It was so so good to have a whole grade back in the library together like old times! Kinder got to listen to a 4th grader and PBL veteran share her experiences with taking care of the earth 💙 @WaxpoolElem
“How can I create a financially successful business?” Students were so thrilled to sell their products and services while putting their knowledge of decimals to the test! All the while learning business vocabulary! @WaxpoolES
When students are passionate about our CT problem of the month, they go to their local library and bring their creations and ideas to life!!! @AlgorithmChef @WaxpoolES
This activity asked students whether or not the image represented a fraction. No meant snail speed and yes meant turbo! @csforlcps @WaxpoolES Thanks @AlgorithmChef for the help!
