I met this Yale-law school trained writer at Yaddo. I felt so blessed to meet him. He is an attorney- turned essayist and now memoirist. Spare but devastatingly beautiful writing.
Five years ago, I began writing a book on identity and belonging, unsure where it would take me.
That book became a memoir about race, class, family, religion, and the West.
I'm so excited to announce that BROWN BOY: A Memoir is almost here.
