@joshm@browsercompany@arcinternet I think an iPad app would be an easier app to port over (at least for landscape) and I am looking forward to that more than a redesigned iPhone app. Gestures on the iPad (especially to hide and unhide the sidebar) will be a key thing to get right for the experience to feel native
@joshm@davidhoang@browsercompany@arcinternet I think having a web browser with desktop level browsing would allow me to carry my iPad around and rely less on my computer. Web browsing on my iPad is one of the main reasons I carry my laptop with me Think better tab management than safari and synced tabs from my MacBook.
@joshm@arcinternet Maybe it is just me... but I want the port to always be shown on a localhost URL.
I have multiple docker containers with different ports both running web UI and it would be nice to see the port in the URL. Not only for ports other than 80.
@AdemoyeJohn arc has replaced chrome for me. it's only on mac (for now) but windows is coming soon
Here’s a link to download Arc, the
browser I was telling you about!

@chriscoyier@joshm@NotionHQ I don't find myself ever using the command palette for extensions for this reason. Why would I type that in as opposed to taking two clicks to the puzzle icon for extensions and selecting an extension?
@chriscoyier@joshm@NotionHQ Actually, clicking help and typing to search for an extension works faster than using the command palette. Starting to think making a new tab should be a separate workflow from activating extensions.
@joshm@aNotioneer@NotionHQ This also could have content go into the row instead of a link for using the actual web clipper function.
I want both, but I care more as a student about just the links. since you can take the contents of the website from notion’s workflow doing either shouldn’t be hard.
@joshm@aNotioneer@NotionHQ arguable this violates a design principle that you shouldn’t be more than a certain number of subcategories or workflows but I hope you get the idea
@joshm@NotionHQ Let me set a “Link” column to a new row on a spreadsheet right from the web clicker.
This would be a game changer for organizing my read knowledge online. This means I wouldn’t have to change tabs to add a link to my spreadsheet about what I have read
@browsercompany pretty please change your Air Traffic Control workflow.
It took me 10 minutes to find a reddit post on where it was. I have a few comments/suggestions [1/4]
3) feature request: there should be an add to air traffic control option when you click the 3 dots on a tab in arc.
I want to be able to say "take this URL domain and send it always to a certain space".
