Small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) are the lifeblood of any viable economy, and their growth must be prioritized. While on the campaign trail, I took a refreshing detour to visit a local barbershop, seizing the opportunity to have a haircut and also interact with these hardworking entrepreneurs. Our candid discussions provided valuable insights into the challenges they face daily. 

This interaction exposed me further to the realities on the ground and ignited thought-provoking conversations within my team on how a responsive government can create an enabling environment for SMEs to thrive. It reinforced my belief that by empowering and supporting small businesses, we can unlock their immense potential, drive job creation, and propel our state and, indeed, our country towards sustainable economic development.

As we move forward, nurturing the growth of SMEs will remain a key priority, recognising their vital role as the driving force behind inclusive prosperity for all.

@EKEDP My estate is supposed to be on band B yet light we don't see in Lekki County. Normally my 10hrs a day my units of 40k bearly last a month before I have to repurchase. Now unit of 25k can last almost months because no light. Una well done ohhh you people are going well
