The older population of foster youth suffer with foster families not accepting or having interest in fostering them compared to the younger ages. I think there should be recruitment for foster families that primarily focus on teenage foster youth #TarletonCWF22EJ@LmswJohnson
@alexis_mccue I found the statistics shocking as well. I definitely agree that more services/resources for prevention should be offered for this population.
Roughly 12 million girls between 15-19 years old are reported to be pregnant every year. This population should be offered outreach programs within schools/communities for assistance, education, and support. #TarletonCWF22EJ@LmswJohnson

@MaryAbagail It is so crucial for children (and people of all ages) to get the nutritional food they need. I agree with you that it can also affect them in other aspects of their lives if they are not properly nourished.
@Chloee_sworker_ I agree that poverty can be something that can be experienced later as well. This is why I feel it is important to give them access to resources now that will provide assistance to get out, and stay out of poverty in the future.
