@soldier0423 Luckily good intervention can help!

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@JessicaMataBSW School is usually a safe place for kids and can be a place where they feel free to speak up.

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@BswKarlie__ Help gives hope!

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@ayinkam1 And yet it is our greatest weapon in the fight against abuse.

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@McmurryMaize Imagine the damage caused by shaken baby - especially when the child is shaken repeatedly.

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@Laynee_Student Building resiliency is key!

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@avitia_denise This is why prevention is so important.

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@ayinkam1 Because emotional abuse usually begins so young, many of the signs can be misinterpreted as temperament.

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@BSWCorrineCagle It’s our job to give those children hope for the future.

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@CharidethG The implications for education are staggering!

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@JimenaCarreon23 The best part is that with the funding comes expectations required for all states to follow - minimum standards!

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@JimenaCarreon23 @Chloee_sworker_ Using all of your senses and being curious are both helpful to complete an assessment .

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@CharidethG Supporting families and modeling appropriate behaviors and boundaries are key when working in Child Welfare.

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@JimenaCarreon23 Wouldn’t it be great to see parenting education starting in Jr High?

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@alexis_mccue Glad you are here!

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@Chloee_sworker_ Using all of your senses is vital when conducting any assessment.

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@JenniferEtter8 Isn’t this true I’m so many aspects of our lives?

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@ayinkam1 I always tried to remember that parents are ultimately responsible for their children’s safety. But when they can’t Child Welfare organizations should step in.

[Elizabeth Johnson, LMSW @LmswJohnson]

@avitia_denise It is a complex problem with no easy answers.
