Getting so close to the end now, the nerves are starting too kick in! Thought I would post this for anyone else who is also feeling this way. #acuedu_p#graduation
With schools closed, building positive teacher-student relationships is even more important but also more challenging. How are you continuing to build relationships with your students?

To conclude the EDFD462 unit, today I had the opportunity to express my thoughts around my future in the teaching profession and I am very appreciative of time and effort that our tutors have put in for us in this unit. I am thankful for all the help and advice! #acuedu_p
I just design my own online classroom layout, it was a fun and challenging experience. I like the idea of collaborative learning which I display in my online classroom with table groups. Classroom layout is an important aspect of teaching! why not give it a go?. #acuedu_p
We had our science presentation today and demonstrated our science toy. This assessment included collaborative learning, creativity and the use of recycled materials making it sustainable. It was so much fun to do, I cannot wait to implement this with my future students!#acuedu_p
@madilakeman@JessicaPiperata and I just completed and presented our conveyor belt science toy for our Science unit at Uni for a stage 2 classroom! This toy enables exploration of non contact forces, twisting motions and friction in our physical world. #acuedu_p
What a great idea, especially for children who are visual learners - it is so important to incorporate a number of teaching styles into the classroom that will appeal to all students #acuedu_p
This is an animation produced by Kids Club. It is a simple yet effective way of teaching young children about COVID19! https://t.co/2AChufHkZr #acuedu_p
In EDFD463 today, we explored the importance around building positive relationships between parents and teachers through communication. This lesson we were given the opportunity to role play a parent-teacher interview which was great to hear different ideas& approaches #acuedu_p
I saw this & thought it was something great to share. Although we have non face-to-face teaching, I am appreciative of the time and effort our teachers and tutors are putting in to ensure we receive a beneficial learning experience to the best of their ability.

I highly recommend downloading some of these apps and having a go at learning some signs. I have always wanted to incorporate into my future teaching sign language in the class by teaching students one sign a week. A great resource!! #ACUedu_p https://t.co/3Fflrsf2kJ
Today we explored timetabling and were given the opportunity to create our own hypothetical timetable. I thought this experience was good, insightful and challenging to fit all the required KLA's and hours for each subject. #ACUedu_p
It’s a confusing time at the moment for kids having to stay at home. This little video book explains to kids the importance of social distancing but also that it’s “just for a time” & the “hero’s still fight to...make the world right” #acuedu_p https://t.co/ZzxHBeg5cD
In todays zoom class we discussed the importance of establishing routines and expectations. I’ve seen this approach used on my casual teaching days and it is great for setting noise expectations 👍🏼 #acuedu_p
