@CartoonsHateHer Almost every night I woke up convinced that the rumpled sheets/my arm/ my husband's arm was my baby, told myself it was a dream, then continued to see my baby after fully waking up.
@richard_morland @Dr_BellaR @mcgilms There is so much daylight between making a negative comment about someone's appearance and asking if they are okay.
I read a lot of horror stories about babies and travel, but I just got back from a 10 day trip to NFLD which involved four flights, staying in a B&B with thin walls, and lots of eating in restaurants, and every single person who encountered our baby was so kind I could have wept
Hi, introvert here! I would rather chitchat about the weather, weekend plans, etc. for the rest of my days than dive into a conversation about "my purpose" with anyone other than like my husband or maybe two friends, good grief.
Introverts hate small talk. They wanna dive deep. Share your lessons. Your purpose. Your secrets. The stories of your spiritual journey. Discuss psychology, philosophy, and meaning of life. The talk that connects the mind and nourishes the heart. Soul talk. That's what they want.
@clhubes I genuinely feel I have more energy now at 35 than I did for most of my twenties. Twenty-something me didn't realize most of her problems could be solved by eating vegetables, drinking water, and going to bed before midnight.
Everyone is saying they gave away the whole plot showing the dad as the killer... is it not obvious that the little girl is the killer and the dad is a decoy/victim? I mean, it's M. Night Shyamalan!
something about me is that at all times i must be in the process of watching both a thinking show and a no thinking show, so i always have something to watch depending on if i’m in the mood to form thoughts or in the mood to be head empty! this is very important to me!
@a_h_reaume@RunningforBaby@clhubes 👋 I also came here to laugh in Canadian. My kiddo just hit five months and I cannot fathom three months being enough leave.
@Angjbp@clhubes Depends on who's giving advice. When I was expecting I was very open to advice from family, friends, a few trusted coworkers - not so much strangers at the mall, particularly if it was about my pregnancy (i.e. comments on my own body).
@mel_thegreat I have no idea how I came across your tweet but I feel seen - I have been knitting a sky blanket since 2016 and I don't care if I ever finish.
Reading these replies while nursing my five week old is so soothing to my soul. Like yes okay, should I also pee when the baby pees? And when's the baby gonna shower?
