@clhubes I banished all straw cups from my house because too many times the bottom half of those leak proof straws got lost down the drain rendering the entire cup useless and also I hate cleaning straws.
My Manitoba EV charging wish list:
1. Level 2 chargers in all provincial parks (start with Grand Beach and Hecla)
2. Level 3 chargers in Holland, Morden, and Killarney
3. Level 3 chargers every 200 km (or less) along hwy 6

@clhubes When flying out of airports in Canada I always do get ushered to a special fast lane when I’m with the kids. Also when I was visibly pregnant.
I can’t wrap my head around the fact that I gave birth to someone who willingly and enthusiastically signs up for the middle school volleyball team. I’m totally happy for her but cannot relate in any way.
@DennisKendel@CMA_Docs@hqcsask @HQCA It really concerns me how many folks with lower education or EAL are “diagnosed” with cognitive impairment in hospital.
@mental_steak @FueraBL @GnaniAlan @Fu_kin_Guy @WilliamHazen7 My husband leaves the Tesla in the garage and does our weekly grocery shop for a family of 4 with a bike trailer.
@tallsnail They miiiiight want to consider chatting with some folks who worked and parented through pandemic restrictions about this cute little plan 🙃😆
@myfeatherboa@Queer_Menno@RegReader@jsparkblog The nuance of language is fascinating. It’s hard to pinpoint why, but the term “watching” is equivalent to babysitting to me and both apply to non-parent caregiving. There will be exceptions, but I don’t think many moms see themselves as “watching the kids” when alone with them.
