Damodaran says Anthropic's IPO will be priced on run-rate revenue, not cash flows.
On my AI scoreboard Anthropic already tops 4 of 5 categories: revenue ($67.2B run-rate), valuation ($965B), Polymarket odds and Artificial Analysis.
Still #2. Its #3 on @arena costs it the crown.
Three AI labs on my scoreboard sit at ~$1B revenue:
Moonshot (Kimi): $50B valuation, #18 on @arena
DeepSeek: ~$52B, #38
Mistral: $24B, #111
Same revenue, and the one in Europe costs half as much.
Is Mistral the bargain, or is the discount earned?
OpenAI makes ~$50B a year and is valued at $852B, #3 on my AI scoreboard.
Polymarket gives it 4.9% to have the best AI model at the end of 2026. Anthropic 46.5%, Google 43%.
Its best @arena model sits #21.
Is the market writing OpenAI off too early, or is that fair?
I built a scoreboard for the AI race.
One score per lab: model rankings + revenue + valuation + prediction-market odds. Every number has a receipt.
Week 1 and we already have a new #1: Anthropic just took the crown from Google DeepMind. 👑🧵
Monday standings, 19 Oct:
1. Anthropic 94.4

3. OpenAI 66.9
Biggest riser: DeepSeek, 41.2 → 42.6. Its new V4.1 Flash 1017 lifted its Artificial Analysis index from 39.5 to 45.1.

I built airacescoreboard in one day with an AI agent.
It scores AI labs like a league: Polymarket odds, Artificial Analysis, Arena, revenue, valuation.
One rule: every number has a receipt.
Mobile Lighthouse: 38 → 98. Load: ~7–8s → ~2s.
Anthropic was merging over 30,000 changes a day in september. At that rate, they gave up the global merge lock.
Tests now run after the merge. Claude fixes the conflicts.
A small team is not there. One branch at a time keeps main on the last passing commit.
Keep the lock until you can't.

@avotoast Today I had a really bad experience with it. Set on xhigh, kept answering shit without even checking code, so basically lying, guessing, forgetting. I ve switched back to fable..
@thsottiaux I like that it does not require as much configuration to be efficient. I'm building tools for myself, and use it as a companion for claude, I made them review each others work.
