I created a new class at UNC-Pembroke, Rec and Sport in Indigenous Cultures. Today, I had a student tell me has learned more in that class than any other class at UNCP. I take no pride in his comment. This is a reflection of a broken, white-washed, ethnocentric education system.

He doesn't come within 6 hours of me. Husband will be out of the country for the entirety of tour, I will be solo parenting, I can't go. I haven't seen JM solo since summer of 2001. This is a dream show. I can only hope more dates are added. Feeling heartbroken 😥
