Since July, YouTube has been quietly manipulating creators

They introduced a new policy with fancy wording like “non-original content” instead of “reused content” and claimed it had nothing to do with AI
They said it was just terminology
What happened next proved the opposite

Hundreds of thousands of channels were suddenly terminated or demonetized not for scams, not for violations but simply for using AI in titles, descriptions, thumbnails, or even creative AI-generated videos.

Then came the second wave: mass demonetizations under the label “non-original content.”
Same policy, different weapon

This isn’t about quality
This is about cutting payouts

By declaring huge amounts of content “non-original,” YouTube reduces how much it has to pay creators keeping a bigger share of the revenue for itself

At the same time, YouTube now has:
• Channels being terminated with no clear reason
• Monetization removed with no proof
• Broken RPM stats
• Processing failures
• Analytics glitches

The platform is visibly unstable

And yet Neal Mohan is out here talking about Hollywood dreams, AI search boxes, and training new AI tools completely ignoring the fact that YouTube is nothing without creators

Look at what’s happening around them:
• X is increasing video payouts
• TikTok is pushing creator funds and brand deals
• Facebook is offering insane bonuses to pull creators over

Platforms know YouTube is weak right now and creators are being treated as disposable

If you stay only on YouTube, you are at risk
No transparency
No protection
No real appeal

Distribute your content everywhere
Never depend on YouTube alone

Because at any moment, they can erase years of your work and keep the money with zero accountability

😳 Finally, after waiting for more than 4 months, one of my three channels has been restored… but with suspended execution 😭
Today I submitted an appeal through the Google form, it was accepted, and I received an email confirming that my reconsideration request was approved and that my channel had been restored. But the surprise was that when I went to YouTube Studio, it shows that the channel is removed and not displayed on YouTube at this time, as shown in the image. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but the problem is still there. I also tried from different devices, but another surprise appeared: YouTube Studio shows an error saying “try again” 😂 Is this normal? Are these errors expected to happen from a leading company the size of @Google and YouTube? 🤔
Now I want urgent intervention from a real human at @TeamYouTube to activate my channel and restore it on YouTube based on the email that confirmed my appeal was accepted and my channel reinstated, because this whole situation from the beginning was an AI mistake that took down my three channels. This is clear proof of the scale of the failure in YouTube’s AI system, which @nealmohan does not want to admit and is very proud of. He must see the damage it causes to every creator on the platform. I am now demanding a response to this tweet and the restoration of my channel by the @YouTube team according to their own policies and official emails. I already received confirmation from the specialized team that my channel was reinstated, and I want that decision executed.
I ask everyone who reads my tweet to help me by tagging @TeamYouTube so this tweet reaches them and they see the serious mistakes their AI system is making.

You can tell from these thumbnails that this channel is a history educational channel, not some random channel with low-effort content.

I used to see this creator before my own channel was removed, and his posts were always heartbreaking. His words stayed with me, and I honestly prayed he’d get his channel back.

After losing my channel and then getting it back, I finally understood what people hit by this wave are really going through.

This guy lost his livelihood, his dad passed away, and he’s going through an incredibly hard time.

I wish I could do more, but we’re literally powerless.

A couple of days ago marked exactly one year since YouTube terminated my channel.

During that year, I did something most creators think is impossible: I won a legal case against YouTube via a European Union certified dispute body.

They reviewed everything and made the decision - the termination of my channel was NOT RIGHTFUL and the channel should be reinstated.

@TeamYouTube - if you really wanted so much to punish me for something, believe me, you've already punished me enough this year. Please honor the legal decision and reinstate my channel.

I fought fairly using every legitimate tool available to defend my creator rights, and I WON. I'm not asking for special treatment - I'm asking you to acknowledge the decision and follow the law.

Since my case gained attention, I've been flooded with messages from other affected creators facing the same nightmare:
➡️ Terminated for "spam" they never committed
➡️ "Circumvention" bans with zero prior terminations
➡️ Appeals rejected by bots in seconds

All the creators deserve fair human review and justice!

The peak of absurdity is happening from YouTubes support and team. I received an email stating that one of the violation reviewers reevaluated my channel based on the reconsideration request I submitted, and decided not to reverse the termination according to the Community 👇👇👇
