@berserker144 I love misunderstood, redeemable villains as much as the next guy/girl. but very much agreed not every villain NEEDS to be that. In fact it can be a benefit too have BOTH in a series. (Though with movies it’s best to pick one or the other.)
@larrysfund@NasifQuadir@DiscussingFilm People are trying to make heavily AI movies in terms of all that. People showing up watching probably not. But I’d rather the rule exist then not.
@seadog6662 Yeah. This is a reviewer who clearly wanted Mouse PI to be a game it’s not.
He wanted realistic Noir, and instead got a cartoony game with noir astetics.
@Huntsmarshal Also that Jack pepper shoots an opera singer and the game doesn’t care…
the opera singer in question being an assassin who replaced
The real actor
@Albobdad I’m more upset they got a person who clearly didn’t like boomer shooters to play a boomer shooter.
One who also went on a tangent about the Opera “actress” boss fight… missing the fact the game says the actors where replaced by assassins and saying the story didn’t care
@monhantopust@Figothefox Same.
A person can be a fan of somethings lore, character’s and memes.
The only time to respectfully critique or disagree with them is if they start suggesting game changes without playing the games
@monhantopust@Figothefox I hate the words tourists and fake fans so much.
Like yes, I get being protective of a series you like against people who haven’t played but want it to change. But people don’t need to be an asshole about it.
