The Tartan Army’s on a charm offensive and their American hosts are loving it.
But beyond beer & viral videos, there’s charity work. The Tartan Army is giving Hasbro Children’s Hospital the biggest single donation it’s ever received - money that will go towards treating cancer.
You know…. If those baseball players ALWAYS put Bible verses on their hats, nobody would blink an eye. Them only doing it during Pride Night is performative as fuck. Lmao. Do it for all 162 games if you REALLY believe in your religion.
Norway fans are doing a “Viking Row” up the escalator at Boston’s South Station before heading to the World Cup
Adding this to the list of things I’ve never seen before and probably never will again
Sorry to hear of the passing of Eddie Andelman..He was THE pioneer for Boston sports talk radio who set the bar for all others to live up to..My prayers and condolences to Judy and the entire Andelman family
Individuals who make Pride Night about themselves are exactly why these events are held. The existence of LGBTQ+ people should not be a matter of opinion or morality. They are human beings and deserve to be treated with respect.
The Celtics went 64-18 in the regular season, 16-3 in the playoffs and didn’t even have a series go past 5 games. They’re easily second behind the 2017 warriors
@KeithSmithNBA Agreed it wouldn't make sense. If you trade JB for a bunch of stuff like picks and young players, you're basically punting on Tatums prime and might as well trade him too. Young players and or picks aren't helping Tatum win a title any time soon
Overall, if it's Jaylen and a 1st and the medicals look good, I'm happy with the trade. If it's anything more, I don't see the point. Obviously, the ideal would be a Tatum, Brown, Giannis big 3 but that may not be doable. No matter what, though, the Celtics need to be adding more
Idk whether the Giannis to Boston trade happens but in case it does here are my thoughts:
-Giannis is better than JB
-Giannis is riskier than JB
- Because of that, the trade would raise the Celtics' ceiling but lower their floor
-Celtics better be 100% certain on Giannis's medicals, especially if he signs an extension (which would be a prerequisite of any trade for him anyway)
-Mazzulla would have to let Giannis play his game of attacking the paint and not force him to adapt to Mazzulla ball
