#RQLA was genuinely one of the best weekends I’ve had with Riftbound so far.

Got to finally meet a ton of people I’ve talked to online, play some great games, and just hang out with people who love this game as much as I do.

Also want to give a special shoutout to @DimiccoDiana. It was really good seeing her again after Vancouver, and I seriously appreciate everything she does on the creator/community side. A lot of the cool opportunities and experiences creators get don’t happen without people like her putting in work behind the scenes.

Really grateful for everyone who came up and said hi too. That still feels surreal every time.

Getting to witness @SinzariLoL grind day in and day out on optimizing rek sai has been so fulfilling. Also has been a motivation for me as well, answering many of my questions over the past few months, absolute stud. This best of was 100% deserved. 🦈🦈🏆

My list for #RQLA.

Couple notes:
Rockfall Path feels extremely important, best battlefield Rek'Sai has at the moment. Basically solves Heron, LB, and Rengar matchups for a game, which are 3 of the toughest and most common matchups.

Honest Broker was a late addition to make up for the power costs because I went up to 3 Void Rush recently to account for slower Heron/Lb meta. It was not necessary and felt quite bad. Would definitely cut them for other 2 drops instead.

Cutting 2 Undertitans was a great decision, lost 0 games due to drawing 2 Undertitans. 🤣 Still had a few wins from flipping the 1-of from legend trigger. Imperial Decree serves as a better top end against current meta.

Wasn't sure about gear removal in side so I played 1 of each. I was on 0 Sapvage 2 Brittle Steel on Friday and decided to add back 1 Salvage on Saturday morning, came up clutch a few times. Salvage is so much better against everything except Aurora, but to be fair I played against 0 Aurora all weekend. Thermo Beam was for Jayce/Azir but I played 0 Jayce and didn't draw it vs the 1 Azir I played.

Smites very important not just for LeBlanc but much more so against other red decks. Won quite a few games on the spot from Smiting Forerunner. Never mull it against a deck that plays Forerunner.

Cut down to 1 Forge of the Future because in my limited testing, Kennen was so much weaker without Stacked Deck or Nocturne that Rek'Sai is favored even siding 0 cards in. Forge also helps against Leblanc so I kept 1 in the side just for extra help vs those 2 decks.

1-of Hextech Ray came in clutch a few times, Rek'Sai hates being on odd runes, and if you are, you often pass with 1 energy open. 1-of Hextech Ray means your opponent has to always play around that possibility or risk getting blown out. Plus, once you play it, you go back to even runes for next turn.

Overall, aside from Honest Brokers, quite happy with the list. Would make a few small tweaks, but it did what I wanted it to.
