#heyswansons, need your help! What is this growing in my soil? I'm finding competing theories online about fungus vs. pest eggs. No visible damage to plant and no noticeable insects. It's an aloe, lives indoors, planted in Terra Cotta.

@Swansons Not much sun, we have lots of big trees providing shade. We have a landscaping plan but would love a couple recs for evergreen bushes/shrubs/ferns that would do well in shade (current plans call for Oregon grape, but we're not a fan of its spiky leaves).

"Sharrows" are not effective tools. Cars either don't notice them or pay them no mind. We need real physical barriers to protect cyclists from impatient cars. @SeattleDOTr

I biked to work this morning. Had to slam on my brakes 3 time to avoid getting hit by cars. Once in a bike lane, all my right of way. @CityofSeattle @SeattleCouncil we need protected bike lanes!
