@TroyHadrick That’s a good idea. Sometimes it’s too cold to tag when we are calving. We have a stack of hip tags we apply to the calf if this happens. They stay on for about a month. Although the tube of glue dries out between calving seasons…

@BigMACsbeef When we did custom wrapping we had a customer that did it to kill weed seeds, then used the straw on their large strawberry patch.

@agcoeric 6 layers, the same as if making feed. We tried less wraps but it didn’t stand up to pests as well. We have kept some up to 5 years.

@AllamFarmer Oh it absolutely is more input than it needs to be. I just really like playing with spreadsheets for forecasting budgets. I run our business off of quickbooks and farm off of ag ex. I really like how I can print off specific reports to use in my spreadsheets.

@AllamFarmer I’ve got a 2 budget styles. 1 spreadsheet is for cashflow it’s only calculated 6 mths out so it’s accurate. I change it anywhere from 0-10 times/day bc it’s very dependent on real life. My other is a big picture projection, usually for 2 yrs out. It uses past ave’s & projections
