A Soviet report investigating Nazi war crimes during the Holocaust states that #OTD 25 August 1942, 503 Jews from Mezhirov were shot at the Jewish cemetery.

The report ends with: "It has not been possible to ascertain the names of these Jews."

Dita was born in #Prague, 1929. She was deported to Terezin, then #Auschwitz, and later Bergen-Belsen. Both of her parents were murdered.
