Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz: The IDF has completed its capture of the strategic Ali Tahar ridge in southern Lebanon after a complex operation under heavy blackout.

Forces cleared Hezbollah command and control tunnels on the ridge, which served as a last defensive post over the Nabatieh area and for attacks toward the Galilee.

Katz: "Israel will not withdraw from the security zone in Lebanon until Hezbollah is disarmed across all of Lebanon and the threats to the Galilee are removed."
