This week's article is all about something that should be part of our lives and that's Self-care. Big or small, our actions and steps towards restoring ourselves should never be overlooked. How have you shown yourself love today? https://t.co/EwKvz4Z2LS

Today is the 16th anniversary of the White Knuckles music video. We worked with 12 wonderful trainers, who taught the choreography to 14 rescue dogs over the course of 3 months. We had to learn the dance, too. As it turns out, you really can teach old dogs new tricks.
@UnlockedPurpose@NationAfrica Social media activity can give clues as to what is happening within, so looking at their likes, reposts, posts etc could give you some insight. Best thing to do is to open up communication and possibly linking them to a mental health practitioner for assessment and support
@UnlockedPurpose@NationAfrica Erring on the side of caution is always advised as the consequences of dismissing anyone's expressions, especially around suicide could be grave.
I completely understand where you’re coming from, but for a lot of gamers physical discs are the only way they could afford to play games because they could get them secondhand. You can also give games to your younger siblings Which is a great way to introduce them to the games you were playing.
Most importantly though, as we saw from PlayStation this past week, if the media we buy is only digital, it can be taken away from us at a moment’s notice with no recourse. Imagine that, one day your entire library of games could be deleted overnight because technically you don’t own it.
Our children are being stolen. Between Jan 2025–Mar 2026, Kenya recorded 10,581 child protection cases,1,952 abductions, 173 trafficking cases. That is 23 children a day.
Last week in Githurai, a 2-year-old was kidnapped by a teenager sent to steal a child for a phone. In Juja, residents shut down the Thika Superhighway after 4 children vanished in two weeks. In Central Kenya, 372 violence-against-children incidents in under a year. This is a national emergency.
The Penal Code provides for life imprisonment for kidnappers. I want to see DCI and DPP match that seriousness with urgent investigations and full prosecutions, not just press releases.
To every Kenyan, watch the children around you. Speak up and report because if we do not protect our children, we have failed at the most fundamental duty of a society. Our children are not a footnote. They are our future.
The MOST dangerous time for a woman is when she is about to leave a man. Tell your friends, family, clients, patients, EVERYONE.
The minute that a woman decides to leave a man is the minute that her risk of premature death rises sharply!
Linner Sang, may you rest in peace 🙏🏾🕊
Another Death Inside A Police Station!
24 years old Brian Njung’e, a student at Kiambu National Polytechnic, was arrested yesterday Thursday 21st May morning in Kirigiti area of Kiambu town and booked at Kiambu Police Station.
Brian called his mother from the police station around 9am and they spoke, where Brian informed the mother of his arrest.
The family, including the mother, rushed to the police station to follow up. They got there just before noon and requested to see Brian but were asked to wait.
They were kept waiting until around 2pm when they were called in and informed that Brian had allegedly committed suicide in the cells.
Police claim Brian was alone in the cells as other cellmates had been taken to court. The family is crying foul and wants justice arguing that the police story doesn’t add up.

25 years ago today, we first heard an interesting noise when Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp were sailing down the Grand Line…
WAIT… is that a whale?! 🐋
This was the first time the Straw Hat Crew witnessed Laboon in ONE PIECE.
I’m really not exaggerating here… this scene alone has somehow elevated One Piece to even new levels for me
Might be the most I’ve cried watching the show tbh, I must’ve rewatched it over 100 times last night.
