With everything you're going through, I know that you may feel that it is not okay, to not be okay. But the truth is, we aren't always okay, and That Is Okay. Life has ups and downs, and 2020 has shown us how quickly things can change. Remember to be kind to yourself.
I'm taking a break from posting articles for the next 2 weeks to get some stuff sorted so that I can continue to share more on Mental health, and increase my interactions with you. I can't wait to share what I have so far with you guys.
This week, we're recapping an article I wrote on Positive Coping Mechanisms. Identifying different coping techniques that work for you is good because sometimes, your go-to may not work as effectively, so a few back-ups will really make a difference
This week's article is all about something that should be part of our lives and that's Self-care. Big or small, our actions and steps towards restoring ourselves should never be overlooked. How have you shown yourself love today? https://t.co/EwKvz4Z2LS

@PeacefulPersona @cikubuku @elkiewoods@Nabela@Jewlz_b Hi @PeacefulPersona, unfortunately, I'm not in a position to offer pro bono services atm but there are platforms online e.g 7cups that offer free sessions. Maybe you can try it out. I hope you get to find out what the mystery illness is soon. All the best!

@cikubuku FYI, when it comes to doing what's best for you, always remember that it's all about YOU. The therapist is there to help and guide you, but it's you doing most of the work, and so no one, other than you, is doing you a favor.
@LuluMbugua I totally understand. Being vulnerable isnt the easiest thing. And if it helps, you can choose to take things slow as you warm up to your therapist and therapy in general. But the honesty is really important. Thank you for being vulnerable
@iamodondi Ni kuhimu kabisa! We as therapists know because we do go through our own therapy to make sure we're stable enough to have sessions. The results usually are worth the pain though
