do @UKLabour have a positive plan for the arts in schools? 1st get rid of Ebacc & progress 8 but what next? All schools should be art schools. We need an Artsbacc in primary education to create art where all subjects are taught through drawing, art music, poetry & dance.
10 reflections on the education profession, from 2 old timers:
1. Our education system is currently in a very fragile state, from the early years to higher education. The next Government will need to grasp the scale of the problems very quickly. This couldn't be more important.
Great (but wet) afternoon at the National Art Education Archives at @YSPsculpture yesterday. #70years of @InSEAOfficial and barely scraped the surface. Brilliant! Thanks everyone. I’ll be back.
