This morning, we once again come together to pay tribute to those taken from us during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. We lost 23 valiant members that fateful day and, 22 years later, the pain and the loss continues.
The NYPD vows to #NeverForget, and we will always honor our fallen heroes.
As we reflect on the events of 9/11, please keep the children and families who lost loved ones in your thoughts as they continue to bear the pain of their absence.
May we remember the importance of unity, compassion, and the enduring American spirit. #NeverForget#UnitedWeStand
Wishing everyone a restful Labor Day! As we celebrate the contributions of all workers, we want to give special recognition to those who rush in when others are rushing out. Thank you, first responders, for your tireless efforts and being the true heroes among us.

Thanks to the @1strcf, and their sponsors, for awarding the families of some of NY's Finest with scholarships.
First responders spend their days caring for others; nobody understands that more than first responder families. With so much to balance at work and home, these scholarships make a real difference.
A leader in the making. Adriana Hendrickson-Slack shared her story of growing up with “Superwoman” — her mother, now retired NYPD Detective Marsha Hendrickson-Slack. Thank you and congrats on your much deserved scholarship.
We’ve witnessed a remarkable and record-breaking surge in scholarship submissions for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year! With this incredible opportunity, comes great responsibility. (1/4)
Michael Bosworth, Deneen Donnley, Matthew Dornauer, and Robert J. Grey Jr. as the moderator. Special thanks to LSC Board Chairman John Levi for his impactful opening remarks and LSC Vice President for Legal Affairs, Will A. Gunn for the warm welcome.
When our communities have access to fair and just legal representation, it fosters a sense of security, trust, and empowerment. Thank you, @LSCtweets & @FordFoundation for gathering this wonderful panel of leaders.
Last week I had the opportunity to attend the @LSCtweets forum at the @FordFoundation. It was inspiring to engage with thought leaders in the community and discuss our shared responsibility to ensure equal access to legal representation for every individual.
Through our Jr. First Responder Camps, we connect first responders with children in the communities they serve and hope to inspire the next generation of first responders, like this aspiring police officer!
