Now that India has flooded the world with FFMGs (Fake Foreign Medical Grads) we must rely on other means to exclude impostor doctors.

The US has two main defenses against impostors:

1. US doctors must complete a supervised US residency. Unfortunately, this residency requirement has been eliminated in 19 states, including mine.

2. Our second and final safeguard is the licensing exam. Almost all US doctors must eventually pass the three parts of the USMLE (US Medical Licensing Exam.)

Unfortunately, exam fraud is as simple as hiring a ringer to take the test for you (he needs to look vaguely like the picture on your driver's license) and avoiding the test centers that check fingerprints. (Grok summary attached.)

Or, impostors could obtain the questions in advance, from insiders or from earlier test takers.

If this sounds like a conspiracy theory, well, it already happened, and you will never guess where.

In 2024, hundreds of scores were invalidated due to leaked questions in Nepal (an Indian suburb) and to anomalous high scores at international centers in India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Jordan.

The statistically-unlikely scores were eventually blamed on early exam takers sharing the questions in WhatsApp groups.

In other news, you can take the first 2 parts of the US medical licensing exam in India. Then you can start practicing medicine in the USA.

Your Indian doctor might be a resident who purchased his Indian medical diploma then purchased the US licensing exam questions and took the test in India.

Fortunately, Part 3 of the exam, which must be passed at some point during residency, can only be taken inside the USA. So we can breathe easy, right?

Well, not exactly.

The US medical licensing exam is written and scored by two organizations. The first is the FSMB (Federation of State Medical Boards) whose president and CEO is....

The H-1B scam began in 1990 which means they have now been here for 36 years, so you need to multiply whatever figure we have by 36 to get a true number.

Now they are whining that I inflate the numbers by counting the H-4 EAD.

Here is the problem with the H-4 data.

1) we do not know how many spouses are working because we do not have access to the data, but
2) we do know that some are working, if not all, so we have to use the numbers we have available to us.

I do not make up these numbers and I do use the official government numbers.

Ok. Vulnerable post but here we are.

I just weighed in at 141.4 lbs.
Since Sept 2024 to today, May 15, 2026, I have lost 100lbs. It hurts to say that and share but I am going to share it because I worked so damn hard every week for over a year and a half to shed this weight. It did not happen overnight.

If it wasn’t for having this incredibly challenging goal in fighting @rondarousey I most definitely wouldn’t have reached this. I was pre-diabetic, had trouble simply walking in September 2024 and have been on the path to recovery to turn myself back into an athlete since then.
It was hard, SO damn hard.. there was so much to learn, too much to unpack here, ups, downs, plateaus, things I learned late I wish I learned earlier, trial by error but I did it.

Thank you to Ronda, who waited patiently while I lost this weight and giving me something to aim for.

There is still so much I need to learn and want to do in the health space and to continue transforming my body, but for today, I thank God, my husband and my family for sticking with and encouraging me the whole way.

I pray this encourages you wherever you are in your health journey.

The tick injects a sugar called alpha-gal into your bloodstream. Your immune system tags it as a threat and starts making IgE antibodies. The same alpha-gal sugar sits in beef, pork, lamb, venison, and rabbit. Every meal from a mammal becomes a delayed reaction three to five hours later.

That's why he's down to eggs.

Fish is safe. Chicken is safe. Turkey is safe. Alpha-gal is found in nonprimate mammals only. Old World primates lost the gene that makes it about 28 million years ago. Birds and fish never made it in the first place. So the only safe protein comes from species across an evolutionary line drawn before humans existed.

For some patients dairy goes too. Gelatin capsules and gummies go. The cancer drug cetuximab, manufactured in a mouse cell line, has triggered fatal first-dose anaphylaxis in alpha-gal patients. Pig heart valves have triggered reactions on the operating table.

Between 2010 and 2022 the CDC logged over 110,000 lab-confirmed cases. The actual number sits closer to 450,000 because alpha-gal syndrome isn't nationally reportable and most physicians outside the Southeast don't recognize it. A 2025 analysis of 114 million patient records showed mammalian meat allergy diagnoses rose 5,500% from 2015-2020 to 2021-2025.

Climate change pushed Lone Star ticks north of their Southeast range. White-tailed deer populations recovering from near-extinction and second-growth forests fueled it. Suffolk County, Long Island is now a hotspot. Martha's Vineyard hit establishment by 2014. Forestry workers in heavy-tick regions test 20-30% positive for alpha-gal IgE.

🚨House Republicans just introduced the End H-1B Visa Abuse Act of 2026 — a 3-YEAR PAUSE on new H-1B visas + massive reforms to protect American workers from Big Tech abuse!

Key provisions of the bill include:

• Reducing the annual H-1B visa cap from 65,000 to 25,000 and eliminating all existing exemptions.

• Limiting visas to a single three-year term (instead of two).

• Requiring applicants to maintain a foreign residence they intend to return to.

• Mandating that employers attest they cannot find a qualified U.S. worker, that hiring the foreign worker will not harm American workers, and that they have not laid off (and will not lay off) U.S. workers in the prior or following year.

• Setting a minimum salary of $200,000 for H-1B workers.

• Prohibiting H-1B workers from working for multiple employers or third-party staffing agencies.

• Preventing the federal government from sponsoring or employing nonimmigrant workers.

• Requiring nonimmigrant workers to leave the U.S. before changing to another immigration status.
