@hubermanlab Not sure how to best frame this… but how to work through the “freeze” aspect in a “fight, flight or freeze” response for more generalized anxiety and fears (mundane example: want to learn something new like the piano but feel terrified of sucking and working through that fear)

@hubermanlab Are there general guidelines to determine the health of the bladder without seeing a urologist (and differences for males/females)? And what constitutes a “healthy” bladder to begin with?
Being perfect is overrated. Let's normalize progress in our lives over perfection. Let's skip the stigma and celebrate our accomplishments, no matter how big or small. #Retweet and share with others and encourage them to keep moving forward! #TuesdayThoughts#mentalhealth#cmha
New from me: Middle-income housing is disappearing all across the country. So cities and states are allowing multi-unit homes to be built in single-family neighborhoods

The value of reading, and of writing things down that we read, or hear, cannot be overstated. Two expert guests (who specialize in speech and memory) on the Huberman Lab podcast explained that when we read text or listen to something and then write key aspects/takeaways down by hand- not typing, it engages our motor control centers in ways that deeply embed that information to our memory. Taking notes, however cursory, turns out to be the best way to remember and implement information later.

Neuroscience is up next…
I never took Bio in high school, one of my main regrets. Aside from actually being in nature, this is my kind of Sunday adventure 😎

@hubermanlab These may be incredibly basic questions but here goes:
Why do some people have a harder time staying hydrated than others? Anything anyone can do about “improving” the quality of their hydration?
Also, water retention; is it only high sodium foods that causes bloat, etc?
@tferriss@ferenstein Would be genuinely interested in this… been avoiding dating + dating apps altogether for the last year because I didn’t want the distraction, but am considering taking the plunge again
