@CloeyCallahan Also, I second everyone’s comments on working with PR! Most publicists will have Google alerts set and monitor for publication. Whenever I’m interviewing sources without media representation, I know the likelihood of them looking out for the piece daily is slimmer.

@CloeyCallahan I send the story when it runs but I’ve been a few days late or missed it in the past. If an editor sends me the link, I’ll typically take a few minutes to reach out to all sources involved.

I keep the email short if that helps — 1-3 lines with a quick thank you + link!
