@CH4R10T_TV I teach this book and one of the things I always discuss with my students is Marjis own complicated relationship with faith as the book goes on. If anything it’s a critique of how faith can be used as an excuse for control and how that harms the faithful and non faithful.

Picked up this adorable dress for a great price at the thrift shop. Now is detachable in the back. But who in their right mind decided this should be a hook and eye fastening?! It’s done awful stuff to the fabric. Thankfully I can sew. And I have snaps.

In third grade a girl in my class wrote a fake death threat pretending to be an at the time active killer in our area (the case was all over the news) to one of my friends. The teacher the next year was new and so confused why we all excluded her.

That teacher was so mad at me when she asked me to go be friends with the girl who wrote the letter and I told her “no. I hate her.” She called my parents and told them I was a bully. Thankfully my parents knew the whole situation.
