@ChrisStringer65 2/3 DNA analysis suggest that Aborigines and Papuans carry Neanderthal genes as well as Denisovan genes. DNA modelling suggests an out of Africa dispersal about 72,000 years ago. The oldest present archaeological date we have for hominid occupation of Sahul is c65,000 years ago.
