Great opportunity for an experienced nurse endoscopist to join the fantastic endoscopy unit at Raigmore Hospital in the Highlands. Brilliant nursing team, motivated skilled nurse endoscopists, excellent supportive medical and surgical GI colleagues.

An attribute which is not just relevant for GPs. Secondary care clinicians need to use it as well. Otherwise we will just need huge revolving doors in radiology and endoscopy depts
Buried on page 199 of the Department of Health and Social Care’s annual report published yesterday is the shocking disclosure that it has incurred £8.7bn of losses - £8.7bn ! - on £12.1bn of PPE bought in 2020/21. Think about how that money could have been…
I found shaving close up around my stoma difficult. Using an empty toilet roll as a shield was awkward, so I got an eyebrow shaver. It does an excellent job. £12 on Amazon, even has a light. Shame Amazon has not published my review, I hoped it would help others.

Huge respect to all of you for bringing this sort of horrifying and completely unacceptable/criminal behaviour into the spotlight. Calling it out has to be the first step. Support and protection for those who do the next. We CANNOT allow this to happen in our profession.

"Hello, could you tell me when the next train to Birmingham is?"
"One moment, ah yes, it's at 1:40."
"Brilliant!"
"People aren't usually this excited about Birmingham."
"I've got a date with Sam, I can't believe it!"
"Have fun young man."

I’ve not had my COVID19 vaccine yet and don’t expect to be called for a few weeks yet. But if I was eligible for AZ vaccine tomorrow I’d take it without a moments hesitation. This vaccine is saving many lives every day and is both extensively researched and monitored for safety.
