Interestingly, the debate largely centers on the actual church/org/ministry, not the actual writes of the songs. ie., "We don't sing Bethel or Elevation or Hillsong", not "We won't sing songs written by Brandon Lake."

Pastoring here in Fort Worth, I can think of a couple of dozen churches off the top of my head that are male-only elders...to be honest, it's probably 9 to 1...so not sure what's going on but he may need a quick tutorial on google searching.

I just spoke to a brother who has been looking for a church home for the last year in the Forth Worth area. He said he hasn't joined a church after visiting at least 12 of them for one reason.

All of them have female pastors or elders.

I've heard multiple people say it's extremely hard to find a Christ centered Bible church in North Texas. There is no shortage of churches in this area.

It is incredibly sad how we've let feminist, secular humanist, and progressive liberal ideologies infiltrate the church. Joining in their satanic rebellion against God to elevate man's standards above His.

The fact that this is happening in Texas let's you know it's not political but spiritual. You should not be under leadership that openly rebells against God's ordained, clear, and unchanging structure for His Church.

I think our job is the standing in fear part.

1. A clear and strong diaconate is paramount.
2. Not calling the youth guy a "pastor" (unless he actually is on the elder board) is huge.
3. Having a plurality of elders that truly "shepherd the flock that is among" them is a necessity.
