The accident involved a 2004-model Gulfstream G200 (N318JF) private business jet.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and emergency crews responded quickly to the scene.

This was an interesting video talking about pilot pay. A US Captain making $450K/year makes less money than a UAE Captain being paid $322K/year. UAE has no income taxes, provides free luxury housing, and even pays for school for their kids. I'm ready to move to the UAE! https://t.co/DjN0tUR5eh
A routine LAX departure became a fast-moving safety save when Delta 958 drifted off course toward SkyWest 231E and controllers stepped in with urgent turn commands. ✈

It is really scary how many of these types of almost accidents we have! The aviation system is designed ot be safe, but those safety nets are deteriorating.
A go-around near Newark put two United Express regional jets on converging paths — and TCAS, not routine spacing, became the decisive last safety layer. ✈

New visual reconstructions are bringing renewed attention to the crash of Delta Flight 4819 in Toronto. A TSB Canada animation and independent analyses are detailing the sequence of events that led to the CRJ-900 accident.

🚨 I just benchmarked the top open-source AI models… and the trillion-parameter giant got crushed.
The 1-trillion-parameter Kimi K2 lost to models a fraction of its size.
I tested the leading models head-to-head on reasoning, coding, and writing skills — three identical trials per prompt, same conditions for every model.
Final Ranking:
1. NVIDIA Nemotron-3-Super (120B) — 100% success rate. Fastest in the test.
2. DeepSeek V4-Flash (284B MoE) — 100% success rate. ~2× slower than Nemotron.
3. DeepSeek V4-Pro (158B) — 100% success rate. ~4× slower than Nemotron.
4. Qwen 3.5 (35B) — 80% success rate. ~3× slower.
5. Qwen 3.6 (35B) — 73% success rate. Best editorial prose of the group.
6. Kimi K2.6 (1T) — 80% success rate. ~8× slower than Nemotron.
What shocked me most? Qwen 3.x and Kimi models burned through their entire token budget on endless internal chain-of-thought… and still never reached an answer. Zero or incomplete output. Completely unusable for real-world agentic coding.
These are the exact models being hyped as “close to or beating Opus 4.7 and GPT-5.5.”
They’re not even in the same league.
Nemotron and DeepSeek were the only ones that handled agentic coding tasks without collapsing. They’re not frontier-level yet, but they’re excellent for general coding and reasoning. Qwen 3.6 slightly beat Nemotron on writing — great to keep in the arsenal when output quality > speed.
What open-source models are you actually using in your stack right now?

EU airlines want to delay the 2030 e-SAF mandate due to supply gaps and potential €7-9B penalties. We track European airline fleets — see what aircraft they operate. https://t.co/uTpLiReMuz #SAF#Aviation
Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson has been the world's busiest airport for over 20 years. About 100 million passengers annually. If planespotting is a sport, ATL is the Super Bowl. Could spot there every day for a year and still see airlines you've never encountered.

Amazing that the MD600 has been in production for 47 years! I remember when I first saw a NOTAR and was blown away by how they work. Much safer than a spinning propeller that the pilot cannot see. They were ahead of their time. Great pic!
"On this day in 1979, the McDonnell Douglas MD-600N debuted, blending jet power with NOTAR’s silent flight. Surprised? This 8-seat helicopter used a jet engine to eliminate tail rotors, making it a stealthy favorite for police and VIP missions.

Follow us for a new aircraft every single day.
I hope something positive comes out of this meeting. The FAA should have never approved that helicopter route. The FAA will not allow anything to be built in the approach path of an airport. They hassle people over everything. Yet, they allow transient traffic to fly directly under the glide path of an airliner and the controllers don't even monitor what the helicopters are doing! You see him? Uhh yeah... Ok then we can ignore all of the imminent crash alarms sounding in the tower and let you guys collide. Not our problem now? WTF?
Anyone else dealing with issues at @Printful? My order's been stuck in embroidery for weeks—they take forever to respond and ignore account notes. Ironically, I've had tons of items with the exact same logo go through fine before. #Printful#PrintOnDemand#EtsySeller #CustomerService
