There is an old adage that when in Rome do as the Romans do. If I was a British man I would embrace the Sikh customs start wearing a turbine and strap up.
The same in New York afraid to ride the subway or walk the streets? Just start wearing a Kippa...nobody would risk immediate incarceration for the slightest infraction of even uttering an insult.
@WallStreetApes Mexico has the worlds largest supply of silver. What would a silver denominated Peso to to the Federal Reserve Note known as the Dollar in the Forex Market?😆
In the 70's I was in the infantry and assigned to a weapons squad, crew served weapons, M-60 and the 90 mm recoilless rifle which I carried. My assistant gunner always carried the scope, very lightweight. We were supposed to help each other carry the weapon. My assistant "black" always disappeared during a road march to the back of the column. He was totally worthless.
@Docusaviz@Oceanbreeze473 .25 cent PBR's out of the vending machine at the entrance to our barracks at Ft. Sherman canal zone. Then sitting on the beach watching the ships. while attending JOTC Feb 1978.
As a Boomer pushing 70 I can tell you that you have so much more opportunity to make money than we had. You literally have all you need in the palm of your hand. Yet all you do is complain. In the 70's I served my Country. What did that get me? A gutted GI bill as the funds were diverted to "minorities." The stagflation, gas shortages rationing...Working long hours for $2.50 an hour hauling brush uphill to a wood chipper on road projects yeah we got through it. Self educated started a business. Nobody gave me anything. The harsh reality is the world owes you nothing. If you are to succeed it takes long hours of hard work and perseverance. My advise is to stop complaining, get off your butts and do something about it because nobody is going to give you anything for free.
