@runcandice Agreed, anything over 2 hours for me is a last resort and a quick path towards treadmill burnout for me. Having kids and a job where Im at work for 2 days straight i couldn’t train without it :)
Anyone can run themselves into the dirt. Patience, self control, and being comfortable with who you are at that moment is where the real discipline lies.

"The need to prove oneself comes from insecurity. Stop trying to prove fitness, and start trying to do what is best to get you to the starting line fit, healthy, and ready to go."

@UltraHakr @MountainRoche Michael cutting weight sounds like torture, I’ve always been impressed by the discipline and toughness of wrestlers! I used to despise the treadmill then I got a job where I was tethered to a fire truck for 1/3 + of my life and then had 2 kids. I couldn’t train without it now:)
The treadmill is like that friend that you’re kind of reluctant to hang out with but is always there for you when you need them and when you do hang out you realize that they are actually pretty fun to hang out with :)
