The prosecution has presented evidence:
#KarenRead was highly intoxicated and in actual, physical control of the Lexus. Officer John O’Keefe never entered (based on phone data) nor does anyone see him enter 34 Fairview. Officer O’Keefe’s DNA is found on her right rear tail light and pieces of the tail light were found on his clothing. Additionally, pieces of the broken tail light were found at 34 Fairview and not at 1 Meadows Avenue. Finally, the Medical Examiner opined that “she didn’t see any signs of a major altercation”. Thus, it is very tough to get beat in the basement when you never entered the residence. As such, the evidence presented thus far supports the Commonwealth’s contention that #KarenRead struck Officer John O’Keefe with her vehicle on the night in question.

This case is about the anger a community feels about what they consider pervasive public corruption in their government. They have used this anger to fuel a preposterous 50+ person Conspriracy involving at least 8 government entities, including the ATF.

Like the race concerns that surrounded the OJ Trial, the public corruption concerns around this trial have clouded the facts of #KarenReads actions on 1/29/22 when he hit #JohnOkeefe, because she was drunk and angry and their relationshipwas on the rocks.

*Read made multiple admissions- "I hit him"
*Read told Kerry Roberts at 5 AM that "John is dead"
*Her tail light was busted and the pieces of her tail light were found scattered around Officer O'Keefe at the crime scene
*The glass Officer O'Keefe had in his hand when he left the bar and the drinking straw were found by him at the murder scene
*He never entered 34 Fairview according to every witness in the house
*Read had to be "Section 12d" due to her sanity issues (just like OJ went crazy in the Bronco when he realized his World was crashing in around him and there would be likely consequences for his deeds)
*She was drunk, at least 9 drinks consumed, and a scientist evaluated her as being well over the legal limit the next day
*The relationship was toxic between Read and O'Keefe. He was ending it and Read was desperate to keep it going
*Read kissed and made multiple advances toward Officer O'Keefe's friend ATF Agent Higgins just 2 weeks before she hit him; Higgins said he believed she was making a play on him to get at Officer O'Keefe.

**Officer O'Keefe's DNA on the tail light
**Officer O'Keefe's hair on the quarter panel

This is a simple case that turned into a witch hunt costing so many, so much.
