➡️ NPS repaired and turned on the two fountains on the upper plaza (by Joan of Arc/drum circle) for the first time in many, many years
➡️ NPS has described this as a “miracle” and really it is fantastic to see
➡️ This began to flush rust and sediment out of those long-dormant pipes
➡️ Those two fountains are connected to the big cascading fountain, so the rusty water is flowing through the entire system
➡️ NPS’s contractor has been working to clear the water & they’re hopeful that will be complete today-ish
