But they do have to prove themselves? They're making the positive accusation?
I believe that Brand is guilty, his shitty behaviour has been known for years to many. But it's a simple reality that they DO have to prove he's guilty...
Labour’s Jess Phillips tells @JackieLongc4 that women are effectively “made to feel like they have to prove themselves” after coming forward over allegations against Russell Brand.

@jakeshieldsajj Threats from his lawyers. She went to the police and it fell on deaf ears because they didn't want to hassle a celebrity who had the ear of most of the biggest politicians of the day.
He's only been "anti-establishment" recently. For years he was happy to nustle up to the teet.
@jakeshieldsajj I believe he's a rapist. It was too well known, for too long. People need to realise, he has heterodox views but he IS a member of the establishment. It was a well known secret in TV for years. I knew someone who was attacked by him back in 2008, then immediately started getting
@ThuleanVibe @abiogenecis @AstuteCFO Cope. You can't say cope when you tried so hard, you went that heavily into a troll, and it just fell flat.
Ouch...
@HussainShafiei@KJirbe@afneil It was well known in the industry for years. 2 separate people, on separate occasions who are in my friendship group (or are well known to my friendship group), reported him being inappropriate, and that was back in 2007/08. How many more?

But if we introduce these new laws, what will the effect be? To criminalise teenage couples unfairly.
@FilthyArmenian He was a fucking wrong'un since forever. The guy's weird as fuck and was well known around the comedy clubs for his... ahem... preferences. Loads of people he worked with in TV said the same.
Based on his character, his impulsiveness, his narcissism, I believe it.
