#DXCluster sysops... is there anything that can be done to stop one or more individuals making the cluster network near-unusable today by flooding with hundreds of fake spots?

@FMDXIreland @VO1FOG Feb 1986 for a general release to class A (then a full licence for all freqs including below 144Mhz).

June 1987, the band (and 70Mhz) was also released to Class B licencees, VHF licences for those yet to pass the morse code test ( a requirement now removed of course)

Holy moly 1700z Solar Flux reading is 316.9 - and thats without any flare enhancement. Higher than any other such reading this cycle so far.

@SolarHam It was 118 on the 16th, itself the lowest reading since the end of last November.

Remarkable turnaround, and looking at the helioseismic charts, there could be some further action brewing on the far side.

Decent chance of some 6m action across the pond if these levels hold up

@DX_World @GB7MBC Yep.. solar flux now lowest since early December last year. After months of decent SFI levels, it's typical they take such a dive in the week leading up to CQWW SSB. Means high band condx prob wont be much better than last year's event.
